Our pets enrich our lives in so many ways, and we consider them part of the family. When they get injured or become sick, it’s good to know award-winning Animal ER of Northwest Houston is nearby, offering high-quality emergency veterinary medicine. The full-service emergency practice provides a wide range of veterinary services and 24/7 care and support. No pet emergency is too large or too small for the Animal ER of Northwest Houston team.
“We care for your pets as our own and strive to provide an exceptional experience for pets and pet parents alike,” says Dr. Jennifer Hennessey, founder and owner of Animal ER of Northwest Houston.
Hearts that Care, Hands that Heal
Animal ER of Northwest Houston has been the go-to place for emergency veterinary care in Greater Cypress since opening in 2014. Dr. Hennessey, a Fear Free Certified Veterinarian, and the entire team nurture pets and clients with expert care and deep compassion.
The doctors stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine to better diagnose, manage, and treat all forms of trauma and disease and enhance your pet’s longevity and life. They also collaborate with your primary care veterinarian, supporting a continuum of care for your pet.
Wonder Pet Rehab & Recovery
Dr. Hennessey opened Wonder Pet next door to Animal ER to provide pain relief, increased mobility, and improved quality of life for pets recovering from surgery and/or injury.
“Wonder Pet’s specialized post-surgical rehabilitation and physical therapy help jumpstart your pet’s body into repair and recovery,” explains Dr. Hennessey, a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner.
Services include physical therapy and hydrotherapy, which can dramatically reduce stress and strain on the joints and muscles. Dr. Hennessey recently added two new cutting-edge services to Wonder Pet — platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and NeuFit Neubie electrical stimulation.
PRP joint injections unleash the power of regenerative medicine to help relieve joint pain. Neubie manages pain by reprograming the brain to ‘turn down’ chronic pain so your pet’s muscle patterns can fire correctly. “We’ve seen remarkable improvements in pets’ comfort with these treatments,” says Dr. Hennessey.
