Animal ER of Northwest Houston

Jennifer Hennessey Donaldson, DVM, CVJ, CCRP, CVAT

Dr. Jennifer Hennessey Donaldson and her team at Animal ER of Northwest Houston understand the deeply personal connection we have with our pets and treat all pets in their care as they would treat their own.

“The special bonds we have with our own pets and those we serve encourage us to continuously improve and provide an exceptional experience for pets and pet parents alike,” Dr. Hennessey Donaldson says. “We have a great team that shares my passion for serving the pets and pet parents of the community.”

Full-service Emergency Veterinary Practice, Open 24/7

No pet emergency is too large or small for this multiple-award-winning practice. The veterinary specialists diagnose, manage, and treat all forms of trauma and disease to enhance your pet’s quality of life and longevity, and collaborate with your primary care veterinarian to maximize care.

The compassionate, friendly, and highly skilled team includes more than 10 full and part-time veterinarians at the forefront of their field, four managers, experienced technicians, and well-trained support staff. In-house diagnostics include digital radiography, teleradiology interpretation, ultrasound services, and an in-house laboratory for blood typing, testing, and analysis.

Wonder Pet Rehab & Recovery

Like humans, pets benefit from physical therapy and rehabilitation after injury or surgery. Wonder Pet provides postoperative recovery, weight-management fitness, and physical wellness and mobility therapy programs. Treatment modalities include hydrotherapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, and more.

Acupuncture therapy was recently added to enhance your pet’s natural healing abilities. Performed by Dr. Hennessey Donaldson, a certified veterinary acupuncturist and certified canine rehabilitation therapist, acupuncture is available by appointment as part of physical rehabilitation packages.

“We have all the tools and technology to offer specialized post-surgical rehabilitation and physical therapy to help jumpstart your pet’s body into repair and recovery,” she says.
