A beautiful smile created by Dr. Tonie Lewis radiates confidence and happiness. Dr. Lewis is the owner of Allen Smile Design, a boutique dental practice where comfort and technology are uniquely blended to produce stellar, quality dentistry.

Crafting attractive, healthy smiles for those in need is Dr. Lewis’ joy and passion. She provides gentle, conservative oral healthcare, integrating advanced technology whenever possible to improve patients’ experiences. Her personalized dental treatments are uniquely crafted for each individual.

“We allow a generous amount of time and attention for each patient’s appointment, never double booking or overextending. When I meet a patient for the first time, my goal is to get to know them personally,” she says. “By forming positive, solid relationships, we can work together to create the best possible treatment for meeting their goals.”

Patient-focused Team

“Everybody loves and appreciates our staff,” she says. “When patients arrive, they are immediately greeted and welcomed.” Dr. Lewis’ team shows genuine concern and compassion for patients, calling them the same evening as their procedure to ensure they’re doing well without any dental-related issues.

To safeguard everyone from potential germs, Dr. Lewis and her team wear upgraded N95 masks, face shields, and test staff members weekly if they show COVID-19 symptoms. When each patient is guided through the office to their dental appointment, a staff member goes behind them to sanitize the areas they came in contact with.

The ability to change people’s smiles captured Dr. Lewis’ interest for dentistry.

I wanted to help them by creating a functional, attractive smile they would be proud to show others,” she said.

Determined to reach her goal, she graduated as valedictorian of her high school class. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi. She attended Howard University College of Dentistry, receiving the Community Dentistry Award, and the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award – a selected, invitation-only membership for the most accomplished professionals in the field of esthetic dentistry. She is certified in Invisalign and laser dentistry, and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Community Engagement

Each year, Dr. Lewis sponsors an area sports team, is involved with Toys for Tots, and offers summer internships for students interested in dentistry as a profession. Internships allow students to get their feet wet in the field while learning the dynamics of patient relations. Her gift for building solid relationships and connecting with others is an important ingredient to her popularity and success.

Dr. Lewis has been married to her high-school sweetheart for 17 years. They have two children and stay busy as a family traveling to basketball games as well as club volleyball and club swimming.
