Advanced Ob-Gyn Associates

William Richard Salter, MD, FACOG, Anu Gupta, MD, FACOG, Elizabeth Mosier, MD

At Advanced Ob-Gyn Associates, Dr. Richard Salter, Dr. Elizabeth Mosier, and Dr. Anu Gupta strive to bring patients the best treatment possible by offering the latest technology and options. For women of every age, they offer compassionate care and seek to educate them on good health practices.

The team’s highest priority is to make patients feel welcome, appreciated, and cared for by delivering an overall pleasant experience. Recent medical advances in women’s healthcare have revolutionized how the team approaches their patients’ treatments. “We combine these advances and technology with a personal touch. We want our patients to feel a partnership with their physician and be involved in the decision-making process regarding their treatment,” said Dr. Salter.

Dr. Salter’s main focus is pregnancies (including high-risk and VBAC), and minimally invasive gynecology surgery. Minimally invasive surgical procedures include Essure for permanent contraception, Her Option for heavy menses treatment, TVT for stress urinary incontinence, and the use of the da Vinci robot for pelvic surgery.

Dr. Gupta has recently moved from Chicago to Dallas and is enjoying her new patients. “Ob-Gyn has always been a passion of mine and medicine is my second nature,” she said. Since her mother is an Ob-Gyn and her father was a physician as well, Dr. Gupta knew specializing in the field of gynecology and obstetrics would be an obvious choice. “Working here at Advanced Ob-Gyn really feels like I’m part of a big family because everyone is so welcoming.”

Dr. Mosier’s area of interest includes routine obstetrical care, high-risk pregnancies, adolescent and adult gynecology care, and community health education. “I love all of my patients. I especially enjoy guiding teenagers through their first gynecology exam and seeing them through their stages of life,” Dr. Mosier said.

Advanced Ob-Gyn is delighted to partner with BioTE Medical, one of the leaders in bioidentical hormone pellet therapy, to provide a natural, low-maintenance treatment option for hormonal imbalance, optimization, and management. BioTE pellets use hormones derived from natural plant sources to replicate the body’s optimal hormonal levels. Bioidentical hormone pellets are the only type of treatment providing sustained levels of hormones for four to six months. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy provides relief from menopause, perimenopause, andropause, low testosterone, and more.

“We all have the same goal here at Advanced Ob-Gyn Associates, which is to provide the best care available to our patients, starting from the moment they call to make their first appointment to every stage throughout their lives,” Dr. Salter said. “Dr. Mosier, Dr. Gupta, and I are dedicated to making a positive impact in our patients’ healthcare for life.”
