Area Achievements

The community writes in this month with a few pics of our neighborhood heroes! We appreciate taking a look at what everyone’s favorite area athletes and academics are up to. To submit photos, send the name, city, school or organization, and a crisp high-res image to sports@livingmagazine.net. You might just see them turn up in a future issue.

BF Adam Golf

Jersey Village High School senior Kayleigh Truong was among five CFISD basketball standouts to earl all-state accolades, including her twin sister, Kaylynne

National Scholastic Writing Awards

Cypress Woods High School senior Taylor Powers earned a national Gold Medal in the Art Portfolio category of the Scholastic Art & Writing competition, and was among eight entries to earn a Gold Medal Portfolio Award for art and a $10,000 scholarship
