nurse practitioner, Ieshia Kimble, performs psychiatric evaluations,
consultations, and medication management for adolescents and adults. Her
specialties include depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, adult
attention deficit/hyperactivity, and psychotic
disorders.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Ms. Kimble
earned an undergraduate degree in language arts and studied abroad in Spain.
Recognizing her innate desire to help people, especially those with
challenging behavioral issues, she went on to complete a Master of Science
degree in nursing at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science and
became a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Ms. Kimble takes a whole-person approach to
patient care. She strives to develop a close relationship and strong bond
with each patient.

“My goal is to partner with patients in their
plan of care and help them be the best they can be as an individual,” Ms.
Kimble explains. “What makes me smile is knowing I was able to help a person
get through a tough time and feel and function better.”

On a mission to improve access to quality
mental health care, Ms. Kimble also aims to end the stigma that’s
inappropriately attached to mental health, emphasizing empowerment.
