Experiencing an injury is never fun and when it happens, you just want to get better as fast as possible. The medical professionals at Achieve Physical Therapy & Performance understand the frustration and discomfort you are experiencing, and they want to help you get well.
Achieve has been recognized as one of northeast Dallas/Collin County’s premier providers of physical therapy and rehabilitation, having won Living Magazine’s Best Of Readers’ Choice awards in 2017 and 2018. With five locations to choose from, owners Steve Long and Steve Cole specialize in hands-on manual therapy techniques for the treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries, as well as pre- and postoperative rehabilitation. “Through providing customized physical therapy evaluations and various treatments, we can help achieve your goals and relieve your pain,” says Steve Long, PT, MS.
Creating a Healthy Community
In the world of physical and occupational therapy, Achieve stands alone. “We are conveniently located close to home or work for many northeast metroplex residents. Our therapists are more thorough and personable, and getting patients back to work, to play, and to living is our number one goal,” says Steve Cole, PT, MSPT. “Every decision we make, every new facility we open, and every advanced technology we employ is to help patients of all ages reach their full performance. We take your health a step further because we offer our commitment to an exceptionally seamless, professional, accessible, and transparent experience, consistently delivered with quality care.”
Patients utilizing Achieve will find an inviting, relaxed, and friendly environment which, in turn, decreases any anxiety and fear they may have as well as aids in their recovery. “We communicate, we identify and achieve outcomes, we respect costs, and we laugh and make therapy fun,” adds Steve Long. “We make you a part of our family and want you to feel at home.”
The therapists, who have more than half a decade of sports medicine experience between them, employ an integrative performance rehabilitative approach which combines the best technology, manual techniques, and an innovative exercise program. “This combination assists in reducing pain, correcting joint mechanics, and allows for early return to exercises and daily function,” explains Steve Cole. When patients graduate, they are given the opportunity to write about their experience, offer wisdom to new patients or “shout out” to the staff.”
Community service is also at the heart of the mission and vision of the “dueling Steves.” “This area has given so much to us and we are grateful to be able to give back through volunteering our time and mentorship to many schools and organizations, such as Living4Zachary.”
The group even offers a mentorship program with the school district for students who have an interest in the field of physical therapy. Achieve is in the process of establishing a fellowship program for physical therapists through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration based in Houston. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to help our therapists grow professionally while providing optimal care.”
Let Achieve Physical Therapy & Performance get to the root cause of your pain so you can get back to doing the things you love with the people you love.
“Wonderful, competent people! They do a great job! I spent four months with them and there was never a day they let me get by without doing their best to get me over the rebuild of my Achilles tendon surgery. I would recommend them to anyone that needs this service.” – Cliff
