Comprehensive Pain Management That Helps You Stop Hurting, Start Living
If you suffer from chronic pain, you don’t need to be reminded how it impacts all aspects of your life. But where do you go for help? A pain management specialist comes to mind, yet not all pain doctors are equal. This is where Dr. Michael Sprintz comes in. His comprehensive team approach to pain management is innovative and results-oriented. This and more, including triple board certification, is what makes Dr. Sprintz a “Top Doc.”
Patients praise the Sprintz Center for Pain, along with referring physicians who appreciate their comprehensive scope of services delivered with compassion and care. Tracy’s glowing online review sums up how countless patients feel about Dr. Sprintz and his team.
“I can’t begin to recommend Dr. Sprintz and his staff enough. They have really helped me with my chronic pain I’ve had my entire adult life. I’ve been to countless doctors and pain clinics over the past 30 years with no help. Dr. Sprintz is the first and only doctor who actually helped me, and to top it off, they are friendly, too. The whole staff is a delight… If you’re suffering from chronic pain and want to be treated right, this is the place to be.”
Finding the Right Solution, Treating the Whole Person
“Many patients with chronic pain feel they are never truly heard,” says Dr. Sprintz, who has experienced chronic pain himself. “Our goal is to offer pain management the way it should be—a path back to wellness and a more fulfilling life. We listen and empower our patients, and our treatment plans are individually designed to meet their unique needs.”
Sprintz Center’s leading-edge pain treatment options include the most advanced injection therapies, stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine, spinal cord stimulation, and more, all performed by board certified, fellowship-trained pain management doctors. Dr. Sprintz incorporates and supports alternative pain therapies which align with his comprehensive and holistic approach to managing chronic pain.
Using a team approach, Dr. Sprintz works with Drs. Kenneth Wu and Yoann Millet, Shane Smith, PA-C, and Maggie Dickens, MS, LPC, LCDC, the center’s clinical director of behavioral health. Dr. Wu, who is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, is a leading expert in treating complex regional pain syndrome. Ms. Dickens specializes in chronic pain syndromes and substance dependency and use disorders, using cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and clinical hypnosis. Kaedy Stallings, office manager and director of operations, ensures each patient receives compassionate, timely, and professional attention that begins at the first phone call.
Dr. Sprintz and his team complete a full pain evaluation of each patient which includes a thorough risk assessment for substance use disorder. “Our goal is to help you take your life back and keep you safe, not keep you stuck on the medication merry-go-round. I’ve been there and it’s a nightmare,” confides Dr. Sprintz, who has over 18 years in recovery from substance abuse.
” We treat many patients who have pain conditions where these medications are appropriate and play a role in the total care plan. Because we care for all aspects of pain, we can help our patients get great pain management and improve their function, while minimizing their risks.”
“We absolutely love our patients,” Dr. Sprintz adds, “but our goal is to get them so healthy they never need to see us again.”
Concierge-level Service Coming
Always looking for inventive ways to best meet his patients’ needs, Dr. Sprintz will soon introduce the brand new Sprintz Center Concierge Program.
“We already deliver care and service above and beyond the ‘typical’ pain doctor experience and this will not change. However, we understand some of our patients want an even higher level of service and attention that can’t be found in today’s insurance-driven healthcare world,” Dr. Sprintz explains. “Concierge medicine is becoming increasingly popular today because it restores the patient-doctor relationship we all remember. It caters to educated consumers who want to live the best life they can and delivers in-depth knowledge, access, and one-on-one support all year long to help maximize your health and achieve your goals. We believe it will be extremely valuable to patients who want an extra level of attention, service, and access.”
For a monthly membership fee, Sprintz Center Concierge Program members can enjoy access to a nutritionist, an in-house behavioral therapist, and same or next day appointments on demand. Members will also be invited to attend a series of talks with Dr. Sprintz and his team, where he will discuss a variety of topics, such as how to talk to your physician about pain, various pain medications, and more.
