Proper eye health and vision are critical for enjoying a full life without limitations. When eye health is jeopardized, providing tailored solutions is the goal and founding principle of Dr. Anjonette Colvin and her highly trained staff. With a thriving practice currently in the Heritage area, Dr. Colvin is thrilled to announce the opening of their additional office location, Northlake Family EyeCare (NFEC).

“We had so many patients who were driving long distances to the Heritage office that we decided to open our location in Northlake for their convenience,”

Dr. Colvin says. With her family originating from Argyle, Northlake was the perfect choice to break ground and get back to her roots.

Dr. Colvin and her colleague, Dr. Smith, take great pride in providing customized optical solutions for your entire family. With a proven track record, Drs. Colvin and Smith provide the convenience of an experienced and personalized private practice that serves the Argyle, Northlake, Justin, Keller, Robson Ranch, and Canyon Falls areas. While their friendly and impeccable service maintains the integrity of a neighborhood optometry practice, they continue to provide the latest technology, eyewear fashion, and superior-quality contact lenses in the industry.

“We provide premium eye care you can’t get in a retail setting.”

Northlake Family EyeCare uses their innovative technology to diagnose eye diseases and provide specialized solutions for optimum eye health. While most patients dread those burning eye drops and accompanied blurry vision for dilation, optomap digital retinal imaging can eliminate the need for this. And more good news—you no longer have to endure that frightening “puff-of-air” test for ocular hypertension. Now, there is an alternate method to check for the presence of the condition that can lead to glaucoma if left untreated. In addition, Drs. Colvin and Smith seamlessly co-manage your Lasik treatment with your eye surgeon. This service offers patients dual expertise, convenience, and peace of mind.

As a teenager, Dr. Colvin worked for a school program in the eye care industry, fell in love with it, and continued to pursue her passion in the field. She attended both the University of Houston and the University of Texas at Arlington. She then graduated from The Ohio State College of Optometry. She is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist with over 25 years of experience in her field.

Dr. Colvin firmly believes a private practice provides better quality, service, and a fair price. Experience what excellent family eye care and service in a convenient, comfortable setting truly is at Northlake Family EyeCare.
