Dr. Zach Benson and Dr. Jeff Hogan
More people are seeking natural, noninvasive treatments to help relieve pain and improve their overall health and well-being instead of relying on medication or surgery. Are you one of them? The doctors at Hogan Chiropractic are here to help you! Jeff Hogan, DC, and his associate, Zach Benson, DC, focus on treating the root cause of your symptoms versus simply masking them. Instead of prescribing drugs or resorting to invasive surgery, they treat your condition using a hands-on approach that may include spinal adjustments, rehab, spinal decompression, stem cell therapy and/or soft tissue laser therapy.
Seeing patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors—the Hogan Chiropractic team treats patients as they would want to be treated. And the friendly, upbeat office atmosphere is sure to put a smile on your face the moment you walk into the office. Patients say that when they are at Hogan Chiropractic, they feel they are among friends and family—among “genuine, good people” that truly care about them. The Hogan Chiropractic team also happens to love what they do, and they excel at it.
BEYOND SPINAL ADJUSTMENTS
Hogan Chiropractic’s approach focuses on the relationship between the spine and the central nervous system as the key to complete well-being. In addition to performing spinal adjustments and rehab, Dr. Jeff Hogan and Dr. Zach Benson provide FDA-cleared MLS laser therapy, which acts as an anti-inflammatory, an analgesic, a tissue and cell growth accelerator, and more.
MLS therapy can improve nerve function and vascular activity, and fibrous scar tissue formation may be reduced. Equally important, it’s safe and there are no known side effects.
“For many years I suffered from lower back pain. I tried pills, heating pads, back cushions, and products that were supposed to relieve the pain. I even ended using a cane to sit down and stand up at times. But the pain kept coming back. I was referred to Dr. Benson for physical therapy. He told me about MLS Laser Therapy. I have been pain free for 11 months. I still can’t believe the things I can now do pain free. Thank you!” – Joy D.
Spinal decompression is another sought-after service at Hogan Chiropractic. Drs. Hogan and Benson have helped countless patients avoid surgery, like Tari, who was on the verge of undergoing spine surgery when she first started seeing Dr. Hogan for spinal decompression and other treatments. In less than a year, Dr. Hogan’s treatment plan had her back to fishing, playing ball with her dog and kids, and being able to work at the computer using both hands—all without going under the knife!
CUTTING-EDGE REGENERATIVE MEDICINE AND STEM CELL THERAPY
Co-located with Hogan Chiropractic, Sugar Land Functional Medicine brings the future of medicine, personal health, and longevity to the community. The field of functional medicine is becoming more mainstream due to voices like Dr. Oz, but if you’re not familiar with it, at its core is the knowledge that your body has the ability to heal itself and prevent disease. And, like chiropractic, functional medicine naturally targets underlying factors that are causing symptoms and affecting your health.
Sugar Land Functional Medicine offers healing stem cell therapy, which is a big part of today’s medical advances. Fundamentally, stem cells are unspecialized cells that seek out damage in the body and work to regenerate damaged tissue. The therapy is also anti-inflammatory and immuno-modulatory—meaning it has the ability to modify or regulate one or more immune functions. Stem cells have been shown to help repair muscle, bone, cartilage, and tendons, and research indicates that stem cells can benefit a wide variety of health complications and may assist individuals to live stronger, healthier lives.
The stem cells used by Sugar Land Functional Medicine are human umbilical cord stem cells collected from hospitals across the US. The mother signs a consent form, donating the umbilical cord blood to the hospital after the live birth of a healthy baby. Only cord blood cells from healthy mothers and babies are accepted by the labs.
STEM CELL THERAPY FOR BACK PAIN
Due to stem cells’ ability to restore and regenerate, they offer an exciting treatment solution for conditions such as degenerative disc disease and disc herniation. Medications used to relieve the pain associated with these conditions include opioids, which have many dangers and side effects. Even interventional procedures such as spinal injections, which can be extremely beneficial for many patients, don’t affect change on a cellular level or help the body begin to repair itself as stem cells do. This incredible treatment can be life-changing for many people.
If you are suffering from knee, hip, shoulder, back, or neck pain and seek relief, or simply want to maintain and enjoy optimal health, Hogan Chiropractic and Sugar Land Functional Medicine are here and ready to help. Call today to schedule a consultation.
